Those of us from Southwest Georgia do not need to have the word “Artesian” defined for us. We know what an artesian well is, and most of us have enjoyed the pristine, icy cold waters of the “blue holes” that bless this area of Southwest Georgia and North Florida. Perhaps this may seem like a strange way to introduce you to our financial services firm, but from the start we want to make it very clear that we are “Artesian” people. Our office is located in Albany, Georgia which is affectionately known as The Artesian City.
Since we are locally owned and operated, we are acutely in tune with the people from the areas we serve in and around Albany, Georgia. Billups P. Johnson III "Bo", the founder of Artesian Financial, has been serving clients in Southwest Georgia for over 35 years. The experience we provide, combined with our independent, local presence, makes our company a crystal-clear choice for your retirement investment needs.
Independence is important, and we are an independent financial services firm! Independence means that we are not being driven by a large corporation to sell our clients "expensive" proprietary investment products or services. Being independent means, we do not have sales managers prompting us to sell investments and services in order to enhance the price of the company stock through ever increasing sales quotas. We are free to serve our clients with independent advice formed through many years of experience. Our independence along with our extensive knowledge of the investment options and strategies available in today’s investment marketplace sets us apart from our competition. Why are we independent? Simply put, we are independent because independence is the best way to serve our clients without conflicting corporate pressures or distractions. We are independent because we chose to be independent!
